1. I was disappointed to see the decision of some retailers to open on Thanksgiving Day so customers could shop after Thanksgiving dinner. As a business person, I understand businesses are going to meet their customer’s needs, so I get that part. But it makes me sad to think that the need exists in the first place – that there are so many people who don’t have something more meaningful to do that day. I agree that people should take a break from the usual craziness and reflect, relax and just be in that moment. I’m spending mine with family (which includes my dogs Daisy and Webster) and can’t imagine taking time out from that to go to Target! πŸ™‚ Wishing you and Grace a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Robin – I LOVE the picture of Oliver in his secret napping place!! I agree with you and think we could learn so much from our animal family members – and animals in general. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Hi, Robin, very nice post. Given the fact that I’m up working at 04.30 am and George is fast asleep in my bed, on my pillow, it looks like I definitely have something to learn from him πŸ˜‰
I know I’ve been a stranger for a while, but life’s been too hectic lately…I will get back to blogging properly before Christmas, hopefully.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday and that you got to spend it with all your loved ones. x
